The Opportunity: Architect the Future of Developer Experience. We are seeking a hands-on, high-impact Software Factory Architect to champion the greenfield creation and deployment of our Global Software Factory & Developer Platform in Bengaluru. This is a unique, high-influence role.

Your mission is to define, develop, and deploy the modern tool stack and agile engineering methodologies for the entire Vehicle Motion (VM) business unit globally. You will act as the ultimate architect-developer and technical coach.




You will build core tooling, automate complex release pipelines, and actively coach and mentor other developers on how to adopt these new, cutting-edge, and AI-accelerated ways of working.

Your Mission & Responsibilities:
As the Software Factory Architect, you will own the defining, building, and deploying of the following core technical stack: Define the Development Environment: Standardize and roll out contemporary IDE experiences using Visual Studio Code, accelerating development by embedding GitHub Copilot and leveraging containerized developer environments via DevContainers.
Orchestrate CI/CT Pipelines: Design and build continuous integration and continuous testing automation utilizing GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
