Role Description The Interior Design Intern role at HomeX Studio is an internship position based in Nagpur with a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will support designers with space planning, concept development, mood boards, and basic interior layouts. Responsibilities include assisting with furniture and FF&E; selections, preparing presentations, organizing material libraries, and helping document design specifications.



The intern will participate in client meetings when needed, gather requirements, and help translate them into practical design solutions. The role also involves coordinating with vendors, updating project files, and maintaining clear communication with the design team to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Qualifications
Ability to apply Space Planning and Interior Design principles to create functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts.
Interest or experience in working with Furniture and FF&E; (fixtures, furnishings, and equipment) selections and specifications.
Solid Communication skills for collaborating with the design team, vendors, and clients in a professional manner.
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Basic proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and standard productivity tools.
