About the Role
We are looking for a Python Backend Developer with experience in Frappe Framework / ERPNext to build, customize, and maintain scalable business applications. The ideal candidate should have strong Python and backend fundamentals, along with hands-on experience in developing and customizing ERPNext/Frappe applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain applications using Frappe Framework and ERPNext.
Build and optimize backend services and REST APIs using Python.
Develop custom modules, DocTypes, workflows, reports, and integrations.
Work with relational databases such as MariaDB/MySQL and optimize queries and application performance.
Integrate ERPNext with third-party systems and external APIs.
Debug production issues and implement effective and permanent solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Work with frontend, QA, product, and other engineering teams.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.
Contribute to performance optimization, scalability, and system reliability.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Python.
Hands-on experience with Frappe Framework / ERPNext.
Good understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases, preferably MariaDB/MySQL.
Positive understanding of OOP and software development fundamentals.
Experience with Git and collaborative development practices.
Comfortable working in Linux environments.
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
Experience with Redis, caching, and background jobs.
Knowledge of Celery/RQ or similar job-processing frameworks.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
Familiarity with RabbitMQ/Kafka or other messaging systems.
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
