Role Description The Senior Design Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams across structural and building services engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing concept and detailed design development, reviewing and validating design documents,
and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. The Senior Design Manager collaborates closely with clients, architects, and contractors, manages design schedules and resources, and resolves technical issues during the design and execution phases. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, implementing best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of design management processes.
Qualifications
Strong design management skills, including project planning, coordination and delivery for structural and building services projects.
Proficiency in structural and building services engineering principles, with the ability to review and guide multidisciplinary design work.
Experience managing fast-track projects, with demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving client and site requirements.
