Looking for Assistant Manager to oversee the end-to-end Import Shipments movement and arranging Logistics. Coordination with Forwarders, CHA, Transporters and Suppliers. Responsible for managing Customs Clearance, getting freight for the shipments from forwarders for Air and Sea, BOE Check List, Import Duty Payment, MIS Reports and managing data and records pertaining to Shipments and Freight Payments.
Key Responsibilities:
Freight Management (Air and Sea)
Arranging Freight Bids and RFQs
Getting freight for Air & Sea shipments from the Forwarders.
Coordination with Forwarder and Shipping Lines.
Shipment Tracking – Sea & Air
Coordination with CHA for Import Customs Clearance.
Verification of BOE Check List and Import Duty Calculation.
Coordination with Supplier and Customers
Verification of Freight Invoices & Record Management
MIS Reporting; DSR, Weekly and Monthly Reports
Record and Data management of documents for shipments.
Candidate Profile
5 - 10 years of core experience in Imports Freight & Logistics, Documentation – Customs Clearance
Graduation in any field (Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management is highly preferred).
Good knowledge of sea & air RFQs
End to end experience in sea & air imports, customs, clearing, forwarding, track entire shipment and operational issues
Good relations with global freight forwarders and shipping lines, southeast asia agents/forwarders
Strong freight rate negotiation skills
Should possess valuable experience working on ERP SAP, MS Excel (Vlookup & Pivot Tables)
