About the Role
We are seeking a QA Engineer to help drive the quality, reliability, and release confidence of Trupeer's AI-native platform. This role involves building and running tests that validate complex multimedia pipelines, intelligent video rendering, and AI-generated documentation at scale. You will contribute to our quality strategy, help grow our test automation, and ensure every release meets a high bar for correctness and performance across the product.
Key Responsibilities
Design, write, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
Build comprehensive test coverage for AI-driven workflows, including video rendering, transcription accuracy, and AI-generated documentation.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
Perform API testing using Postman, REST-assured, or similar tools.
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.




Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and high-quality releases.
Validate system performance, reliability, and scalability for data-intensive and media-processing workflows.
Continuously improve testing strategies, automation coverage, and release processes.
What We're Looking For
2+ years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance, with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.
Working proficiency with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
Robust scripting skills in Python or JavaScript.
Experience with API testing using Postman, REST-assured, or similar tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into release workflows.
Exposure to performance, reliability, and regression testing.
Interest in testing complex, AI-driven, data-heavy, or media-processing systems.
Experience testing AI/ML-powered features or non-deterministic outputs is a plus.
