Role Summary

Marketing Lead for English Content, will be responsible for shaping audience perception, driving content consumption, and establishing JioHotstar as the most preferred and culturally relevant destination for premium English entertainment in India.

With a portfolio comprising world-class content from leading global studios including HBO Max, NBC Universal, Paramount+, Disney, and other international partners, the role will lead the marketing strategy across television, digital, social media, partnerships, PR, and consumer engagement platforms to maximize the value of acquired content investments. The Marketing Head will be responsible for building brand salience, strengthening consumer affinity, and ensuring JioHotstar becomes the first platform that comes to mind when audiences think of English movies, series, and premium entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Transformation & Market Leadership

Develop and execute a long-term brand strategy to position JioHotstar as India's definitive home for premium English entertainment.




Build top-of-mind awareness and consumer preference for English content offerings across audience segments.
Drive brand differentiation against global and local streaming competitors.

Content Marketing & Franchise Building

Lead the marketing strategy for acquired content across television premieres, streaming launches, movie franchises, premium drama series, comedies, reality programming, and event content.
Develop integrated campaigns that maximize awareness, engagement, and viewership of marquee titles.
Build sustainable franchises and fandom communities around key content properties.
Leverage cultural moments, consumer trends, and social conversations to amplify content relevance.

Consumer Growth & Audience Engagement

Drive audience acquisition, retention, and engagement for English content across all platforms.
Build marketing initiatives that broaden the consumer base for English entertainment in India.
