We're looking for a Team Lead to take a first step into engineering leadership at OneTrust. Team Leads provide day-to-day technical guidance and coaching to a small group of engineers, while remaining hands-on contributors themselves.
Your Mission
Team & People Leadership
- Provide day-to-day coaching and technical guidance to a small group of engineers.
- Support the team's manager with performance check-ins and development conversations.
Delivery Execution
- Help the team break down, plan, and deliver on sprint commitments.
Technical Contribution
- Stay hands-on, contributing code and design work on critical initiatives alongside your team.
Collaboration
- Partner with Product and UX to clarify requirements and surface technical considerations early.
You Are A strong senior engineer taking your first steps into leading others.
You work within goals and process set by your manager, and you balance hands-on contribution with emerging coaching skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 4 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience informally guiding or mentoring other engineers
- Robust technical foundation in frontend and/or backend development relevant to OneTrust's platform
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Devin, Windsurf, or similar) in your own work, and experience helping the engineers you support start using them effectively.
