The Junior Consultant – Fertility will support the clinical and operational aspects of fertility treatments, including IVF, IUI, and other assisted reproductive technologies. The role involves patient consultation, treatment planning under supervision, monitoring cycles, and ensuring high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities:
Conduct initial patient consultations, including medical history review and basic fertility assessment
Assist in planning and execution of fertility treatments such as IVF, IUI, ICSI, and ovulation induction
Monitor patients through ultrasound scans and hormone assessments
Support procedures like oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and IUI under supervision
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Patient Care:
Provide counseling and guidance to patients regarding treatment options and protocols
Ensure compassionate and ethical patient interaction
Address patient queries and concerns throughout the treatment journey
Operational Responsibilities:
Coordinate with embryologists, nursing staff, and lab teams for smooth workflow
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory guidelines
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Academic & Research:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in reproductive medicine
Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and training programs
Assist in research activities and data collection
Qualifications & Experience:
MBBS with MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Fellowship / Training in Reproductive Medicine (preferred)
0–3 years of experience in fertility/IVF setup
Freshers with relevant training may also apply
