As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community
Banking team, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and
deliver the software components of the firm’s state-of-the-art technology
products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Job Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain iOS features using Swift (and UIKit/SwiftUI),
delivering high-quality user experiences across supported iPhone/iPad devices
and iOS versions.
* Lead implementation for moderately complex initiatives (navigation flows,
state management, offline/error handling) and contribute to technical design
decisions.

* Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work
environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across
complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation,
documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated
testing, and secure coding standards; contributes learnings and reusable
patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.





* Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle
toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and
automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.

* Integrate with backend services (REST/GraphQL), implement secure
authentication flows, and ensure secure handling of local storage and network
communications.
* Build and maintain automated tests (unit and UI tests) and improve app
stability and performance (crash reduction, responsiveness, battery/memory
considerations).

* Drive CI/CD improvements for iOS builds (build automation, lint/static
checks, test automation, signing/provisioning, release workflows) and use JP
Morgan Chase-approved AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude AI where approved) to
accelerate refactoring, test generation, and documentation with rigorous
validation.
