Roles & Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Psychology.
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and learning resources.
Develop and update curriculum in accordance with academic and industry requirements.
Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and seminars using innovative teaching methodologies.
Guide and mentor students in academic, research, internships, and career development.
Supervise student projects, dissertations, and research work.
Conduct research and publish papers in reputed national and international journals.
Apply for research grants and collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects.
Participate in curriculum design, accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, etc.), and quality assurance initiatives.
Organize workshops, seminars, conferences, guest lectures, and outreach activities.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, examinations, presentations, and practical assessments.
Maintain academic records and ensure timely submission of reports and documentation.
Participate in departmental meetings,



committees, and university administrative responsibilities.
Build collaborations with industry, hospitals, NGOs, and research organizations for academic enrichment.
Contribute to student counselling, academic advising, and extracurricular activities.
Perform any other academic or administrative duties assigned by the Head of the Department or University.
Qualifications:
PhD in Psychology, Master's Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.
NET/SLET/SET qualification is mandatory as per UGC norms.
Candidates with a Ph.D. in Psychology are preferred. NET exemption shall be applicable as per UGC regulations.
Specialization in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, or related fields will be an added advantage.
