In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Learn and apply software engineering best practices in product development
activities.
* Contributes to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Emerson
software products.
* Develop and maintain software features under the guidance of senior
engineers.
* Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues identified during
development and testing.
* Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to improve code quality.
* Create and maintain technical documentation as required.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams including Development, Testing,
Product Management, and Customer Support.
* Support automation, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives within
the team.
* Learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and development methodologies.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* MTech / Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a
related engineering discipline with graduation completed in 2025 or 2026
* Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and
object-oriented concepts.
* Knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, C++, Java, Python,
or JavaScript.
* Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to learn industrial automation technologies and Emerson products.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
* Academic projects, internships, or coursework related to software
development.
* Exposure to Windows application development, web technologies, or cloud
platforms.
