Your work profile
Deloitte is looking for an experienced GCP Data Engineer – Senior Consultant to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-based data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to build modern data pipelines, data lakes, and analytics platforms supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies
Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP services.
Build and maintain cloud-native data architectures using: BigQuery, Dataproc, Pub/, Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Dataflow
Develop batch and real-time data processing solutions.
Implement data models, data quality checks, and governance frameworks.
Optimize SQL queries and pipeline performance for large-scale datasets.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and analytics teams.
Migrate on-premises data platforms to GCP cloud environments.
Ensure security, scalability, monitoring, and reliability of data platforms.
Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices for data engineering.
Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
Robust communication and stakeholder management.
