La Boite Theatre is inviting expressions of interest from passionate and experienced Teaching Artists to join our pool of creative facilitators. We’re looking to build a diverse network of artists who can deliver engaging workshops across a wide range of practice areas, including (but not limited to) Shakespeare, Verbatim Theatre, Comedy, and Children’s Storytelling. This is an ongoing EOI with no fixed intake—submissions are reviewed as they come in, so we encourage artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to apply.

We’re Looking For Artists Who Have demonstrated experience as a teaching artist or possess robust industry skills to facilitate learning

Bring at least 5+ years of experience in the creative industry (as an artist and/or facilitator preferred)

Are confident leading workshops in specific practice areas, and can clearly outline both their strengths and areas they prefer not to facilitate

Hold a current Working With Children Card (Blue Card)

Have an active ABN

Ideally have access to a vehicle for travel to and from schools (petrol allowance provided) If you’re passionate about arts education and inspiring the next generation of creatives, we’d love to hear from you.
