**Teaching Assistant

32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only

One Year Fixed Term Contract** To Commence September 2026 We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and support teachers in delivering high-quality learning opportunities for pupils.

Previous experience working with children and/or a relevant qualification would be advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a career in teaching who wishes to gain hands-on experience in a supportive educational workplace.

Good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential, as well as a love of learning and the desire to support our children achieve the best they can.

Hinchley Wood Primary School is a popular three form entry primary school and proud to be a founder member of the Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership (HWLP) – a multi academy trust including Hinchley Wood School (a seven form entry secondary school on the same site) and Thames Ditton Junior School (a three form entry junior school a short walk from HWPS).

The successful candidates would be extremely well supported, working alongside a passionate team of teachers . The working pattern is Monday - Friday, term time only, 8.30am-3.30pm. The annual salary is £18, 681 for 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum (NB pay award pending September 2026) **Latest closing date for applications is Tuesday 1st September at 9am The shortlisting will take place on Friday 11th September 2026
