Role overview

- BrightCHAMPS is looking for a Talent Acquisition Trainee to support high‑velocity hiring across business and academic roles in a rapid‑growing global edtech platform for kids aged 6–16. This is a hands‑on role for someone who wants to build a career in recruitment and learn end‑to‑end hiring in a performance‑driven startup environment.
- Key responsibilities
- Source relevant profiles through job portals,



social media, internal referrals and other channels for multiple roles (sales, academic, operations, etc.).
- Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic / virtual HR screening to evaluate fit on role, communication and basic competencies.
- Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates and interview panels, ensuring a smooth candidate experience across all stages.
- Maintain and update candidate data, trackers and recruitment reports accurately on spreadsheets or ATS tools.
- Support bulk hiring drives, walk‑ins and day‑to‑day recruitment operations as per business requirements.
- Share timely follow‑ups, feedback and status updates with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives through social media sourcing, basic content support and referrals.

Desired profile

- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) – HR, Business, Psychology or related fields preferred.
- minimum 6 months of experience in recruitment / HR , or strong interest in building a career in Talent Acquisition.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort in speaking to candidates over calls.
- High energy, ownership, resilience and willingness to work in a fast‑paced, target‑oriented environment.
- Good with basic Excel/Google Sheets, email etiquette and documentation.

Work conditions

- Working days: 6 days a week (Monday – Saturday) – performance‑driven culture.
- Work mode: On Site (HSR Layout, Bangalore).
- Laptop Mandatory: Candidate must have a personal laptop to perform the role effectively
