Role Description
We are seeking an Assistant Accounts Manager – Hotels/Resorts for our property in Thanjavur. This is a full-time, on-site position and is strictly for candidates with hotel accounting experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day hotel accounting operations, including revenue accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, month-end closing, and financial reporting. The role involves preparing Daily Revenue Reports (DRR), monitoring room, F&B;, banquet,



and other revenue streams, reconciling POS and PMS transactions, controlling costs, verifying night audit reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company accounting policies.
The Assistant Accounts Manager will work closely with the Front Office, Food & Beverage, Purchase, Stores, and Operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, revenue integrity, inventory control, and effective cost management. The role also includes supporting audits, budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and assisting the Finance Manager in achieving departmental objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the hotel or resort industry is mandatory.
Experience working in star hotels, branded hotels, or hospitality groups is highly preferred.
