About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Software Engineering to lead our Bangalore-based security engineering team within the Trust and Infrastructure organization. You will drive the design, development,
and operation of large-scale distributed security systems that protect Salesforce's Commercial and Government Cloud environments.
As a thought leader in security engineering, you will build a high-performance team of ~10 engineers, define technical strategy, manage stakeholder relationships across the company, and drive cross-company security and engineering initiatives. This position requires overlapping work hours with US-based teams 2-3 times per week.
About the Team
Our organization is responsible for security controls across Salesforce's Commercial and Government Cloud environments. We own critical security infrastructure including endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, cloud security posture management, intrusion detection, and infrastructure guardrails—protecting thousands of hosts and cloud resources serving millions of customers globally
