Job Summary
The Product Software team at Equinix builds next-generation software products and architecture for our product software and services offerings. We are seeking engineers to serve as a technical pillar for the organization. In this role, you will not only design and develop product software application but also define the architectural standards for consistent APIs and event-driven microservices. You will act as a bridge between product vision and technical execution,



collaborating with engineering leaders and product managers to abstract complex enterprise workflows into scalable, resilient systems. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, product quality and secure code is essential
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Contribute to the technical strategy and execution for modular, event-driven, and scalable microservices supporting enterprise workflows
Design and implement reusable frameworks and self-service modules for service onboarding, configuration, and lifecycle management
Leverage AI tools to accelerate software design, testing, and operations - e.g., AI-assisted code reviews, test generation, and root cause analysis
Collaborate with senior architects and cross-functional teams on architecture decisions
Promote design practices that improve maintainability, observability, and operational excellence
