We are looking for a capable and result-oriented Senior PPC Engineer who can strengthen our production planning and delivery control system.

Role Summary

The Planning Engineer/Sr. Planning Engineer will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling production activities to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders with the required quality and quantity.

This role is highly significant because PPC acts as the central coordination point between Sales, Production, Machine Shop, Procurement, Quality, Testing, Warehouse, and Dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Review sales orders daily and prepare production plans based on demand, resource availability, capacity, and lead time.
- Prepare detailed production schedules considering material availability, production capacity, and delivery commitments.
- Release job orders and purchase requisitions as per order priority and production requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Machine Shop, Quality, Testing, Warehouse, Sales, and Service teams for smooth order execution.




- Monitor daily production progress and ensure adherence to the planned schedule.
- Identify and resolve material shortages, capacity issues, production delays, and scheduling conflicts.
- Provide advance written communication to Sales / Application teams in case of expected delay, rescheduling, or quality rejection.
- Prepare delay feedback and RCA inputs to prevent repeated issues.
- Lead order delivery review meetings and guide execution priorities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to order status, delivery performance, late delivery RCA, and unreleased jobs.

Required Qualification

- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering

Required Experience

- 2 to 5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control.
- Experience in a discrete manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Experience in handling or coordinating with a small support team will be an added advantage.
