We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and be eager to build a career in finance. Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Reconcile supplier invoices with the accounting system.
- Prepare supplier payment sheets and maintain payment records.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Maintain and organise financial documents and accounting records.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and smooth operations.
- Perform data entry and ensure timely updates in accounting software.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and MIS as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of accounting experience (including internships/freshers with relevant knowledge).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data management.
- Familiarity with accounting software will be an added advantage.
