Role & Responsibilities

- Diagnose and manage complex medical cases across internal medicine specialties with emphasis on clinical decision-making and patient safety.
- Lead ward rounds, coordinate care with surgeons, specialists, and nursing staff, and ensure continuity of inpatient and outpatient treatment.
- Prescribe evidence-based treatment regimens, monitor therapeutic response, and adjust protocols based on evolving clinical data.
- Conduct consultations for referred patients, offering specialist opinions and co-managing chronic or multisystem conditions.
- Participate in hospital-wide CMEs, morbidity & mortality reviews, and protocol development to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior residents and medical officers,



fostering a culture of clinical teaching, ethical practice, and continuous learning.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

- MD/DNB in Medicine
- Registration with NMC (National Medical Commission)
- ACLS certification
- Experience in managing medical emergencies
- Proficiency in clinical documentation systems
- Knowledge of infection control protocols

Preferred

- Experience in critical care or ICU setup
- Membership in qualified bodies (e.g., FICC, FIMSA)
- Teaching certification or prior academic role
