Education

M. Tech or M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline.

Desired Candidate Profile

35 years of relevant experience in food product development, preferably in protein supplements and food supplements.
Strong understanding of food ingredients, additives, flavouring, and seasoning systems.
Good knowledge of food manufacturing processes, processing equipment, and production machinery.
Understanding of shelf-life studies, packaging compatibility, and product stability.
Sound knowledge of FSSAI regulations and other applicable food safety and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Desired Keyskills

Lead the development of innovative protein supplements and food supplements based on market trends, consumer insights, and business requirements.
Formulate, optimize,



and improve new and existing products to achieve desired quality, taste, functionality, and cost targets.
Drive cost optimization initiatives through raw material rationalization and process improvements.
Plan, execute, and monitor laboratory, pilot-scale, and commercial production trials.
Coordinate with manufacturing teams and contract processors to ensure successful product scale-up and commercialization.
Collaborate with raw material suppliers for ingredient sourcing, evaluation, and development of new functional ingredients.
Ensure all products comply with FSSAI regulations and relevant food category standards.
Lead New Product Development (NPD), product commercialization, and continuous process improvement projects.
Conduct product evaluations, stability studies, and shelf-life assessments to ensure product quality and performance.
Maintain accurate documentation of product formulations, trial reports, specifications, SOPs, and technical records.
Work cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Production, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing teams to ensure timely project execution.
Stay updated with emerging food technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to support innovation and business growth.
