Role & responsibilities

Job Responsibilities -

- To assist team to strategize, plan, initiate and defend the legal action before the judicial, quasi judicial authorities, tribunals, consumer forums and administrative bodies etc.
- Drafting of Legal Notices, plaints, Suits, Petitions, SLPs applications, affidavit, reply to legal notices, counter affidavits etc. and filings thereof in Supreme Courts, High Courts, in co-ordinations with the counsels.
- Handling of the civil litigations including money suits, recovery and summery suits etc. in co-ordination with the counsel in various courts with focus on speedy disposal the case and/or recovery of the outstanding.
- To research and prepare brief note on the same for the team.
- Managing the complaints, Criminal litigations including cheque bouncing matters with focus on timely filing and follow ups for effective and speedy disposal.
- Briefing the counsels, follow ups and extending guidance to the company representatives on appearance in various courts.
- Preparation of MIS of the Legal cases for review and discussions with process manager and management team.




- Review of the progress of litigations with business/operations team on recovery matters with specific advice/guidance on action plan, course of action for the speedy disposal.
- Drafting, reviewing and vetting of the commercial contracts including projects contracts, supply contracts, purchase contracts, supply contracts, transport contracts, labour contracts, real property contracts, Lease Agreements, Leave and License Agreements, conveyance deeds etc.
- Drafting of MOUs, confidentiality agreements, employment contracts, bonds etc.
- Provide support to the business team in concluding the business contracts and resolving of the legal issues involved therein including the stamp duties under different states.
- To extent support for secretarial matters and legal matters, as and when required.

Skills & Qualifications -

- Law Graduate preferably from a reputed university
- Understanding of court procedures
- Networked with counsels and pan India Basis
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Cement, Mining, metal sector
- Proficiency in Gujarati language
