About the Role:

Preferred background: PhD in Chemical Engineering and/or Renewable Energy
We are seeking a dynamic, internationally connected and strategically minded Editor-in-Chief to lead Wiley's prestigious chemistry portfolio, for interdisciplinary journals with a focus on chemical engineering and renewable energy.
Working closely with Wiley colleagues, the journal’s editorial board and the wider research community, the Editor-in-Chief will shape the journal’s editorial direction, strengthen its reputation and visibility, attract influential content,



and uphold the highest standards of editorial integrity, peer review and publishing ethics.
How you will make an impact:
Define and implement the journal’s editorial strategy in collaboration with the editorial board and other key stakeholders.
Strengthen the journal’s position in the international research community by identifying emerging areas, commissioning high-quality content, and developing opportunities for reviews, perspectives, commentaries, special issues and thematic collections.
Lead, develop and engage the journal’s editorial board, ensuring appropriate subject coverage, international representation, active participation and alignment with the journal’s strategic goals.
Promote best practices in publishing ethics, research integrity, peer review, open research and author service.
Represent the journal, and adjacent Chemistry journals at conferences, workshops, institute visits and virtual outreach
