* Hands on Diagnose and rectification of defects in Addressable and
Conventional Fire Detection systems onboard ships.
* Execute retrofit and commissioning activities for AFDS
* Perform annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for AFDS.
* Troubleshoot software issues within control panels, including program
changes, upload/download.
How you will do it
* Interpret manuals, P&ID; diagrams, and electrical drawings for
troubleshooting.
* Apply control philosophy knowledge to implement retrofit solutions.
* Analyze onboard logbook data to identify and resolve system defects.
* Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and operational excellence.
What we look for
* Education: Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering
* Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on service experience in AFDS
Required
* Expertise in trouble shooting Addressable & Conventional Fire Detection
Systems like Tyco/Siemens/Notifier/Optronic/Consolieum etc
* Positive communication and report-writing abilities.
* Willingness to travel across Indian ports.
Preferred
* Experience of Commercial Marine conventional/addressable fire detection
systems
