A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this exciting role as a Senior Principal Enterprise Software Architect, you
will apply technical expertise using state-of-the-art software engineering
technology to solve highly complex technical problems for our image guided
surgery and robotics portfolio of products.
In this role as Senior Principal Software Architect, you are responsible for
development of the reference architecture and strategy for implementation of
solutions, as well as architectural governance and technical oversight over the
software implementation.
As an experienced engineer, you will prepare plans for your own work,
guide and
mentor other engineers, participate in technical reviews, select the most
promising concepts, implement advances in current state-of-the-art software
technology, and identify opportunities for productivity and quality improvement.
As a technical software leader, you will work closely with software development
teams and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment (Scrum and Scaled Agile
Framework). You will guide the design and development of software solutions at
the architectural level, prepare formal design documentation, and educate
stakeholders regarding solutions.
