The Marketing & Event Coordinator at the Pemberton & District Chamber of Commerce is responsible for coordinating and promoting Chamber events while supporting the organization's marketing and communications. This role involves planning and executing events from start to finish, working with sponsors, vendors, venues, and volunteers, managing event logistics, creating promotional content, and ensuring a positive experience for attendees. In addition, the coordinator supports the Chamber's marketing initiatives through social media, website updates, email marketing, and other communications that promote Chamber programs, events, and the local business community. The Chamber typically hosts one smaller event each month, such as a social mixer or Lunch & Learn, as well as three larger annual events: the Golf Tournament, the Holiday Mixer, and the Construction Mixer. This role requires a highly organized, proactive individual with strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

This is a part-time position (10 hours per week)



at $28/hour that primarily operates remotely with adaptable working hours. Some responsibilities require in-person attendance in Pemberton, including monthly Chamber events and occasional meetings. Therefore, preference will be given to candidates who reside in or near the Pemberton area.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Coordination:

○ Implementation of Chamber marketing strategies to promote chamber programs, events, and services.

○ Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including our monthly newsletter, social media marketing, and all other digital content.

○ Design digital and physical assets required to market events, programs and services being put on by the Chamber.

○ Manage the chamber's website and social media channels.

Event Coordination:

○ Plan, coordinate, and execute Chamber events from start to finish.

○ Develop event timelines and ensure key deadli
