We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Purchase Manager – Mechanical to lead
our procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical
and commercial acumen, hands -on experience in vendor development, and a deep understanding
of component manufacturing processes. This role will be responsible for developing procurement
strategies, managing supplier networks, and ensuring timely and cost -effective sourcing of
materials in alignment with business goals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies across all business
lines to drive efficiency and cost -effectiveness.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage cost -effective and
reliable vendors to improve quality and reduce procurement costs.
- Supply Chain Compliance: Continuously update supply chain practices in line with
environmental policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
- Cross -functional Coordination: Collaborate with R&D;, engineering, marketing,
production, and stores teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Forecast Monitoring: Analyze forecasts and quotas to anticipate changes and assess their
impact on procurement activities.
ï· Supplier Network Expansion: Maintain and enhance a robust and diversified supplier
base.
- New Part & Vendor Development:
Develop new parts and identify potential vendors to
support organizational requirements.
- Vendor Evaluation: Conduct assessments of vendor manufacturing capabilities through
on -site evaluations and audits.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Regularly track supplier performance to ensure
adherence to quality and delivery benchmarks.
- Claims Management: Address vendor claims related to defective, short, or missing
materials.
