Tableau Developer (4-6 Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tableau Developer with 4-6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Database Technologies. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Tableau development, SQL, and data modeling, along with experience working in Agile delivery environments. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable collaborating with offshore and onsite stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Work with large datasets from multiple sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
- Create and maintain Tableau data sources, extracts, and data models.
- Perform performance tuning of Tableau dashboards and database queries.
- Collaborate with business users, data engineers, architects, and project teams to deliver analytical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot reporting and data-related issues.
- Document technical specifications, dashboard designs, and development processes.

Required Skills

- 4-6 years of experience in Tableau Development and Business Intelligence solutions.
- Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop,



Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
- Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases such as:

- SQL Server

- Oracle

- PostgreSQL

- Snowflake

- Azure SQL Database
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Experience creating calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions, and advanced Tableau visualizations.
- Knowledge of Tableau security, permissions, and performance optimization.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Alteryx, ADF, or SSIS.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Tableau Certified Professional or Tableau Desktop Specialist certification is desirable.
