Job Title: Surgical Coordinator

Location: Hair O Craft , Kochi

Job Summary The Surgical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating patients before their scheduled hair transplant procedure. This role involves communicating with patients through calls, ensuring they complete all pre-operative requirements, reviewing reports, providing surgery preparation instructions, and coordinating with the medical team to ensure the patient is fit and ready for surgery.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact patients prior to their scheduled hair transplant procedure and guide them through the pre-operative process.
- Explain all pre-surgery instructions, including medication guidelines, food and fasting requirements (if applicable), scalp preparation, and other precautions advised by the medical team.
- Follow up with patients to ensure all required blood investigations are completed on time.
- Review blood reports and identify any abnormal or missing values. Escalate concerns to the doctor or medical team for further evaluation.
- Ensure all required reports, consent forms, and medical documents are received and verified before the surgery date.
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and the operations team regarding patient readiness and surgery schedules.
- Remind patients of their surgery date, reporting time, and other important instructions.
- Address patient queries and provide reassurance throughout the pre-operative period.




- Maintain accurate records of patient communications, follow-ups, and documentation.
- Promptly report any delays, health concerns, or non-compliance that may affect the scheduled procedure.
- Ensure all patient information is handled confidentially and in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Experience in patient coordination, healthcare, or hospital operations is preferred.

Skills Required
- Excellent verbal communication and patient counselling skills.
- Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.
- Basic understanding of blood investigation reports and pre-operative protocols.
- Valuable organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to identify concerns and escalate them appropriately.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/Hospital Management Software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in patient coordination, surgical coordination, or a healthcare setting.
- Experience in a cosmetic surgery, dermatology, plastic surgery, or hair transplant clinic will be an added advantage.
