Why we need you: You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth procurement processes, maintaining high standards of quality, and supporting effective operations within the department.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Reporting complaints and discrepancies between vessels and suppliers to the Fleet Supervisor and resolving them effectively.
Establishing clear and professional communication with suppliers and clients.
Overseeing and monitoring the supply and delivery process, ensuring proper documentation is maintained, and verifying invoices from both suppliers and clients for accuracy.
Monitoring vessel performance to support departmental objectives and ensure adherence to budgetary requirements.
Managing the monthly closing inventory process and ensuring that vessel catering accounts are accurately updated.
Creating and maintaining template documents and reports, including monthly catering reports, customer review reports, supplier comparison reports, supplier benchmarking, and supplier performance records.
Safeguarding and organizing documentation for inquiries, purchase orders, and other related materials, while ensuring the security and confidentiality of all records.
Performing all administrative tasks in compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and staying informed about any updates or changes.
Other duties as assigned.
You need these qualifications and attributes:
College or university graduate.
Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy.
Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
