A Day in the Life
The Facilities Admin Specialist is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and effective workplace operations across the Medtronic Engineering & Innovation Center (MEIC) Hyderabad office and R&D; laboratory environment. This role supports facility operations, workplace services, infrastructure maintenance, vendor management, and site improvement initiatives that enable business continuity and employee productivity. The position partners with internal stakeholders and external service providers to maintain workplace readiness, laboratory infrastructure support, regulatory compliance,



and operational effectiveness. The role also drives continuous improvement initiatives, cost optimization, and high-quality employee workplace experiences while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. Travel requirement: Minimal travel as required for business needs.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Manage end-to-end facilities operations across office and laboratory environments, ensuring reliable workplace services and business continuity.
Ensure effective operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, UPS, fire protection systems, and other critical infrastructure.
Plan, monitor, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize facility performance and uptime.
Manage workplace services including housekeeping, security, reception, transportation, cafeteria, parking, mailroom, visitor management, and meeting room
