The Turbine Design Execution Team, is responsible for
the detail studies of the whole shaft line (thermodynamics, rotor & static
components). In this context the pedestal engineering group is in charge of the
design and development of all shaft line bearings, including also journal
bearings, thrust bearings, anchoring systems, and steam inlet piping. This scope
covers a wide range of mechanical engineering disciplines such as welded
assemblies, casting processes, precision machining, piping and interfaces with
civil design. As a Mechanical Design Engineer your mission will be to design and
adapt steam turbine components and support its manufacture and assembly in an
workplace of rapid growth and change, to work for world-class nuclear steam
turbines, which are industry leading equipment in terms of performance,
availability and power and will play a central role in mechanical engineering
