SECTION II. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

This role is responsible for leading and managing the Supply Chain Applications Center of Excellence (COE), acting as the primary IT interface for Supply Chain business stakeholders. The role will drive the design, implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of digital solutions and IT platforms across all the supply chain and logistics processes (demand planning, production planning, distribution planning, detailed scheduling, warehousing and transportation) ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational excellence goals.

SECTION III. Key Result Areas

- IT Adaption & Effectiveness

- Drive availability, stability, and performance of Supply Chain applications

- Ensure effective functional and technical support in line with defined SLA/KPI

- Lead and execute projects related to Supply Chain digital transformation

- Act as the single point of contact between IT and Supply Chain stakeholders for both run and change and projects initiatives

- Enablement of / Alignment with Business Processes

- Collaborate with business leaders to identify, design, and implement digital enablers across:

- Demand & Supply Planning

- Procurement & Supplier Collaboration

- Inventory Management

- Manufacturing Execution

- Logistics & Distribution

- Align Supply Chain applications roadmap with business priorities and strategy

- Drive standardization and harmonization of processes across regions





- Challenge legacy processes and promote best-in-class, technology-enabled practices

- IT Innovation / Awareness

- Monitor emerging Supply Chain technologies (e.g., AI-driven planning, digital twins, automation, IoT integration)

- Drive innovation initiatives to improve:

- Service levels

- Inventory optimization

- Cost efficiency

- Supply chain visibility

- Promote adoption of advanced analytics within Supply Chain processes

- Foster a digital-first mindset within Supply Chain functions

Competencies

Educational Background:

- Mandatory: MBA (IT/Operations/Supply Chain) or Engineering in IT/Industrial/Operations





- Preferred: Certifications in Supply Chain Planning tools, or Digital Supply Chain platforms

Functional/ Technical Competencies:

- Deep understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes

- Experience with:

1. ERP (SAP MM, PP, SD)

2. Planning systems (BY / SAP Ariba)

3. Warehouse & Logistics (EWM, WMS, TMS)

- Strong integration knowledge across systems (EDI, APIs, middleware)

- Data-driven mindset (analytics applied to Supply Chain performance)

- Solid program and project management capabilities

Behavioral/ Managerial Competencies:

- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills

- Leadership and team management capabilities

- Change management and organizational transformation experience

- Budget ownership and cost optimization mindset

- Excellent communication and influencing skills

- Problem-solving and decision-making ability in complex environments

- Willingness to travel globally

Work Experience:

- 10–15 years in IT with strong exposure to Supply Chain applications

- Proven experience in leading or contributing to a Supply Chain COE

- Hands-on experience in Supply Chain ecosystem solutions
