In SAP technology at PwC, you will specialise in utilising and managing SAP software and solutions within an organisation. You will be responsible for tasks such as installation, configuration, administration, development, and support of SAP products and technologies.

Responsibilities:

- Hands-on experience in developing solutions using Java, Spring Boot microservices.

- Understanding of design patterns, architecture components, best practices

- Hands-on experience and conceptual understanding of authentication, authorization, exception handling, caching, gateway, config, logging, synchronous & asynchronous communication, batch, integration, thread, encryption,



inter-service communication, unit testing.

- Extensive knowledge in designing, implementing & supporting REST/SOAP services.

- Experience in supporting security and performance issue resolution.

- Understanding of DevOps, Source Code management tool.

- Experience in design documentation.

- Exposure to database components – tables, views, functions, store procedures.

- Proficiency in using GenAI tool like Github Copilot, Claude , Cursor in SDLC.

Functional Skill

- Understanding of business requirements

- Effort estimation of technical modules

- Convert functional requirements into technical solution.

Other Skill

- Good verbal & written communication skill.

- Experience in scrum sprints.

- Ability to manage a small team of 3 to 5 people to deliver the work or working as a module lead

Mandatory skill sets:

Technical Skills:

4–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

Strong knowledge of classical ABAP programming (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows).

Practical exposure to modern ABAP for HANA concepts (CDS views, AMDP, OData services, RAP), SAP-BTP, SAP Fiori, SAP CPI/PO, SF-HR-ABAP.

Experience with integration technologies (BAPIs, IDocs, RFC, Web Services).

Familiarity with performance analysis and tuning tools (ST05, ST12, SCI).

Basic understanding of Fiori/UI5 integration and deployment.

Soft Skills:





Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Ability to mentor junior team members and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Certifications:

SAP ABAP certification or training in S/4HANA development is advantageous.
