Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Steel Structural Drafter based.

The Structural

Drafter prepares detailed shop drawings and technical plans for steel structures, translating engineering and architectural concepts into accurate, buildable documentation. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with structural engineers and project managers, updating drawings based on design changes, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role also involves organizing drawing sets, maintaining BIM models where applicable, and supporting fabrication and installation teams with explicit, precise documentation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in shop drawings and technical drawing for steel structures.




- Candidates should possess skills in architectural drawings and coordination with design stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of structural engineering principles applied to drafting and detailing.
- Candidates should possess experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit or similar drafting tools).
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, ability to interpret engineering and architectural specifications, and strong organizational skills.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
- Diploma or degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred; relevant industry experience is a strong advantage.
