Role Description The Structural Design Engineer – Precast (North America) will be responsible for designing and detailing precast concrete structural elements for building and infrastructure projects aligned with North American codes and standards. Day-to-day activities include performing structural analysis and design calculations, preparing detailed drawings and shop drawings, and coordinating with project managers, drafters, and client teams to resolve technical issues.

The engineer will review and validate design inputs, ensure compliance with safety and performance criteria, and support value engineering initiatives to optimize materials and construction methods.



This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune, requiring close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to meet project schedules and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply these disciplines to precast concrete systems and North American design codes.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis tools and methods, including load calculations, behavior assessment, and design verification for precast components and overall structural systems.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD for creating detailed plans, layouts, and shop drawings for precast elements and connections.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with North American standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, relevant building codes) and precast industry practices is highly beneficial.
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications, construction documents, and client requirements with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and international clients.
- Robust problem-solving abilities, commitment to quality, and capability to manage multiple projects within timelines.
