Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Assistant Manager – Accounting to join our team at Excellence. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, support financial reporting and budgeting, maintain regulatory compliance, and help strengthen internal financial controls.
This position requires solid accounting knowledge, analytical ability, leadership skills, and the confidence to collaborate with clients, auditors, management, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash-flow reports.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries, reconciliations, and reports are accurate and completed on time.




Review accounting records and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements, including VAT, Corporate Tax, and other applicable financial regulations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and financial analysis.
Prepare management reports and provide meaningful insights into financial performance, risks, and variances.
Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and cash-flow positions.
Conduct financial reviews and assessments to support management decision-making.
Liaise with clients regarding financial statements, audits, tax matters, and other accounting-related queries.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls to protect company and client assets.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting policies, procedures, reporting systems, and operational efficiency.
