At DOWC Technologies, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who combines exceptional technical expertise with complete ownership of Backend engineering. This role is for someone who doesn't just write code—but architects solutions, drives technical decisions, and delivers business value from concept to production.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys designing scalable systems, solving complex technical problems, and taking projects from concept to production.

We're not looking for someone who simply completes assigned tasks. We're looking for someone who thinks ahead, takes initiative, drives technical decisions, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and owns the backend from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
Own the backend architecture, design, development, and delivery of assigned applications.
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
Design, develop, and optimize relational databases.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into robust technical solutions.
Perform impact analysis before implementing changes and proactively identify potential risks.
Estimate development effort and participate in sprint planning.
Work closely with Product Owners, Business Users, Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders.
Participate in architecture discussions and recommend scalable technical solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues and drive them to closure.
