Job Summary The Store Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the store by assisting customers, maintaining inventory, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the store remains clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing. The role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist customers with product selection and inquiries.
- Ensure exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Arrange, replenish, and organize merchandise on shelves and displays.
- Receive, unpack, and label current stock.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to the Store Manager.
- Assist with stock counts, inventory audits, and stock transfers.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for billing and cash handling, if required.
- Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene,



and visual merchandising standards.
- Support promotional activities, product launches, and in-store events.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate complex issues to the Store Manager.
- Assist in opening and closing store procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; a graduate degree is an advantage.
- 0–2 years of experience in retail or customer service (freshers may also apply).
- Basic knowledge of retail operations and inventory management is preferred.
