: Staff Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Bangalore & Hyderabad About the Role:

The Cancer Vet is India's leading and veterinary oncology center. We are not just treating cancer; we are rewriting the standard of care for pets in India. We are seeking a Staff Veterinary Surgeon who is ready to move beyond general practice and into a world of complex, life-changing surgical oncology.

We are looking for skilled Small Animal Surgeons (2–4 years of independent surgical experience) who are ready to step into specialty practice. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will manage soft tissue surgeries, assist in complex oncologic procedures, and work alongside Board-Certified Oncology Specialists. What You’ll Do:

Independently perform routine and emergency soft tissue surgeries.

Assist in advanced oncologic resections, biopsies, and reconstructive procedures.

Collaborate with Medical Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging, and Pathology teams for integrated patient care.

Contribute to pre-operative planning and post-operative management of oncology patients. What We’re Looking For:

M.V.



Sc from a recognized university with valid veterinary registration in India.

2–4 years of clinical experience as a small animal surgeon.

Ability to independently handle routine soft tissue cases with confidence.

M.V. Sc in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology is preferred but not mandatory.

Prior experience in a referral or multi-specialty hospital is an added advantage.
