Department Overview
The Core Platforms & Services team is responsible for the development and operations of critical cloud infrastructure and platform services, in support of Motorola Solutions' public and hybrid cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for public safety customers. This team is part of Motorola Solution’s Video & Software division, which offers secure, reliable and productive team communications, workflow and operational intelligence solutions for mission critical public safety and enterprise markets throughout the world.



Our services leverage Cloud Computing infrastructure on Azure, AWS and GCP to build at scale.

Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer at Motorola Solutions, you will be an integral member of our software development team, responsible for analyzing, developing, designing, and maintaining software for the organization’s innovative products and systems. You will work on complex projects that require a high level of technical proficiency and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, develop, and modify software systems, using analysis and models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
Implement and maintain Java and Angular based applications utilizing industry-standard frameworks ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
