Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of Data Modernisation and Cloud Migration programmes.
The role requires a strong understanding of cloud data platform delivery, including the migration of legacy and on-premises data platforms to modern Azure-based Lakehouse, Google CloudPlatform and analytics architectures.
The successful candidate will manage complex programmes covering assessment,
ingestion, engineering, migration, transformation, data modelling, business intelligence, testing, deployment, cutover and hypercare.
You will be responsible for managing global clients, distributed delivery teams, project governance, commercials, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes in a fully remote working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage Data Modernisation and Cloud Migration projects from initiation through planning, execution, deployment, hypercare and closure.
Lead the migration of legacy and on-premises data platforms to Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks and Google Cloud Platform.
Manage multiple workstreams covering data discovery, assessment, ingestion, data engineering, transformation, data modelling, migration, reporting and governance.
Lead cross-functional teams comprising infra specialists, data architects, data engineers, business analysts, Power BI develop
