About the Role

Eleven Media is looking for an experienced Senior Writer to cover US politics and news through well-researched reporting, analysis, and commentary. This is an editorial position, not an SEO content-writing role.

Key Responsibilities

Research and write timely stories covering US politics and news.
Produce news coverage, analysis, explainers, and commentary.
Follow US political developments, identify robust story angles,



and verify information using primary sources, public records, official statements, interviews, and credible reporting.
Track major US news, identify stories relevant to the audience, and research the facts and context needed for accurate coverage.
Select relevant, high-quality visuals for each story, including thumbnails, cover images, photographs, videos, and other supporting visual elements.
Develop clear, well-supported arguments for analysis and commentary pieces.
Work with editors to refine story angles, structure, clarity, and accuracy.
Manage multiple assignments and meet editorial deadlines.
Maintain the brand’s editorial voice and quality standards.
Remain flexible during major political events and breaking news.
