Staff Nurse – Ophthalmology (OPD/OT)

A.K. Institute of Ophthalmology (AKIO) is looking for a Staff Nurse with experience in an ophthalmology setting to join our OPD/OT team.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist doctors and surgeons during OPD and OT procedures.
- Prepare patients for ophthalmic examinations and surgical procedures.
- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Maintain proper patient records and documentation.
- Ensure proper infection control and follow hospital protocols.
- Prepare and maintain OT instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Monitor patients and report any concerns to the concerned doctor.
- Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, and other hospital staff.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing.
- DNC Registration is required.
- Previous experience in an Ophthalmology Centre/Hospital preferred.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology procedures and OT protocols.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Smart, proactive,



responsible, and able to make appropriate decisions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month
