Job Summary The Senior Production Manager commands the end-to-end manufacturing strategy and operations across the Tool Room, Molding Unit, and Stamping Shop, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving enterprise-level output, spearheading aggressive cycle-time optimization, and architecting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing frameworks to structurally lower costs and maximize plant profitability for Tooling Projects, Stamping components, and Thermoplastic/Thermoset lines. You will guide an extended team of production managers, supervisors, and shop floor operators, establishing rigorous scheduling governance, top-tier equipment reliability, sustainable resource workflows, and unyielding safety compliance from concept to delivery.

This is a full-time salaried position, requiring onsite work at our Bengaluru location.

Roles & Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Establish and execute enterprise production strategies to meet ambitious output targets, optimize manufacturing efficiency, and support critical customer priorities across plant operations.

Tool Room Coordination: Direct high-level coordination with Tool Room and Design teams to ensure seamless tool readiness, rapid mold/die turnaround, and minimal disruption to production schedules.

Molding & Stamping Operations:



Oversee plant-level manufacturing excellence for Thermoplastic, Thermoset (Injection, Compression, and Transfer), and Metal Stamping operations, guaranteeing high-uptime 24/7 execution.

Process Optimization & Cost Improvement: Champion enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives leveraging advanced Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma frameworks to slash cycle times, minimize scrap, and optimize operator headcounts and operational costs.

Sustainability Initiatives: Lead the strategic roadmap for green manufacturing, energy conservation, waste-to-value programs, and sustainable material recycling across the entire shop floor.

Scheduling & Output Management: Direct comprehensive production planning and master scheduling to guarantee strict delivery adherence while intelligently balancing plant capacity and resource allocation.

Root Cause Analysis: Deploy advanced, structured problem-solving methodologies (5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D) to eliminate chronic shop-floor bottlenecks, recurring machine failures, and yield losses.

Process Capability & Efficiency: Accountable for tracking and elevating core manufacturing performance metrics, including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), labor productivity, and overall plant efficiency.

Resource & Capacity Planning: Architect workforce structures, shift architectures, and plant-wide machine loading models to support aggressive volume scaling and New Product Development (NPD) industrialization.

Safety & Compliance: Cultivate an uncompromising culture of safety and regulatory compliance by strictly enforcing 6S standards, statutory factory mandates,



and robust company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements Education: B.Tech/Diploma (or higher) in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Polymer Engineering, or relevant educational experience.

Experience: 15+ years of progressive manufacturing and plant operations leadership across Tool Room, Plastic Molding, and Stamping industries, with an exceptional track record in enterprise-level cost reduction and plant management.

Technical Proficiency: Master-level grasp of complex manufacturing processes, multi-axis machine capabilities, advanced tooling/die mechanics, and stamping line parameters.

Core Competencies: Expert-level command of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Black/Green Belt principles, 6S governance, OEE optimization, enterprise time studies, and multi-plant capacity planning.

Material Knowledge: Comprehensive, hands-on material mastery spanning engineering thermoplastics, thermosets (SMC, BMC, DMC), and diverse stamping sheet metals.

Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in enterprise ERP production modules, shop-floor MES data analytics, and executive MS Office reporting tools.

Leadership: Exceptional, proven capability in leading multi-layered manufacturing teams, cultivating executive accountability, and managing large shift-based industrial workforces.

Safety & Setting: Deep regulatory expertise in advanced factory safety frameworks, environmental compliance, and corporate sustainability implementations.

Soft Skills: Superior executive communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills to seamlessly align quality, maintenance, supply chain, and executive leadership.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capabilities utilizing structured root cause analysis (5 Whys, 8D, Fishbone) to eliminate chronic machine downtime and yield losses.

Project Management: Ability to manage shop-floor readiness for New Product Development (NPD) trials, mold sampling, and production ramp-ups.
