Roles & responsibilities:
Gather and analyse financial data.
Work closely with project managers to provide timely transparency around project performance against budget
Review, verify and process project related transactions (purchase requisitions, invoices, etc.)
Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs.
Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
Help management make key decisions based on costs and benefits (e.g. market growth, pricing changes)
Ensure accurate project forecasts, incorporating known risks and opportunities
Create and manage budgets, and monitor spending.
Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions.
Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs.
Track, evaluate and work to mitigate contract penalties such as performance guarantees and liquidated damages for delays
Work to improve project execution continuously processes.

Requirements
Qualifications : CA/CMA
Minimum of 4 years of experience in cost analysis or financial analysis roles.




Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze complex cost data.
Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Proven ability to work independently.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Robust interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
Familiarity with cost accounting principles and practices
