Hankook Europe VP Guy Heywood steps into consultancy with SPG Impact.

stepped down from his position as Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Business Strategy at Hankook Europe as of early 2025. The long-standing industry executive is now transitioning to a consultancy role, marking a shift in his contribution to the tyre sector.

After departing the VP post, Heywood briefly took on an internal strategic advisory role with Hankook, providing project management support across key initiatives. This interim position helped facilitate ongoing strategic operations during the transition.

Heywood has since confirmed his recent position at SPG Impact, a consultancy known for working with organisations in the mobility and sustainability sectors. In a LinkedIn post, he stated: "I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior Consultant at SPG Impact"

Hankook has acknowledged Heywood’s departure from the executive team but has not announced any immediate organisational restructuring. His exit leaves open questions about the future leadership direction for Hankook’s European strategy and commercial operations.

Heywood’s tenure at Hankook saw the company expand its European presence and strengthen its brand across both the OE and replacement markets. His departure signals the close of a significant chapter in the brand's regional growth.
