Nexen Tire Extends European Leadership Restructure

Nexen Tire has extended its European management restructure with new appointments covering Germany, Poland, France and Spain. The changes add country-level leadership to the manufacturer’s wider regional sales structure as it seeks closer coordination with dealers and customers across several significant European tyre markets.

Local leadership follows regional reset

Dr Guido Hüffer has been appointed managing director of Nexen Tire Germany, effective 1 August 2026. He will oversee business development across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, commonly known as the DACH region.

Nexen Tire said Hüffer will focus on customer relationships, market opportunities and the company’s development across the three countries.

The appointment gives an experienced tyre executive responsibility for a market where Nexen has already expanded its commercial coverage.



Tyre News previously reported that the company had increased its German retail sales team after retail tyre sales rose sixfold over seven years.

Hüffer previously held senior sales, retail and business-development positions at Goodyear. His earlier roles included responsibility for consumer replacement sales and distribution planning across Central Europe.

Poland gains dedicated management

Ricky Lee has become managing director of Nexen Tire Poland. He will lead the Polish organisation and work with dealer partners to develop the manufacturer’s position in the country.

Poland forms part of Nexen’s wider Central and Eastern European sales organisation. The local appointment should give the business a clearer link between regional planning and dealer-level execution.

It follows Nexen Tire’s earlier decision to retain Jeffrey (Sang Jun) Kim as vice president of Europe Sales Central & East. Kim is responsible for sales planning and business development across the region.
